First Metro Philippine Equity Exchange Traded Fund (“FMETF”) is the only exchange traded fund categorically listed in the PSE.

First Metro Exchange Traded Fund is listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange under the trading symbol FMETF since December 2, 2013. As of 30 June 2025, the FMETF is the only exchange traded fund categorically listed in the PSE.

Objective
The First Metro Philippine Equity Exchange Traded Fund, Inc. (“FMETF”) is an open-end investment company that continuously issues and redeems its shares of stock in exchange for a basket of securities representing Philippine Stock Exchange Index whose performance the ETF endeavors to track.

The Fund aims to provide returns which would reflect the performance of the Philippine equities market by investing in a basket of securities which are included in the PSEi of the PSE (the “Underlying Index”)

Webinars and Seminars
Our investment manager, First Metro Asset Management Inc. (“FAMI”) has launched various financial literacy seminars, webinars and online episodes in its social media channels, showcasing easy to understand media for Filipinos interested in mutual funds and ETF. These episodes cover various topics, including the different types of mutual funds, investor profiles, and money saving tips especially during the Covid -19 Pandemic.

This aims to increase financial literacy among Filipinos and features its own experts to provide sound investment guidance and insights through online discussions, Q&A sessions, and recaps of previous episodes.

Objective
The objective of the Company’s Investor Relations Program is to provide the investing public with basic and further knowledge on exchange traded funds. It aims as well as give them sufficient access to relevant information on the Company, including management discussion and analysis of financial results, in order for them to make informed investment decisions. 

Relevant information on the Company including the Prospectus, Daily INAV, composition of the underlying index, latest financial results and management discussion and analysis is available for download on this website and on the Philippine Stock Exchange Electronic Disclosure Generation (EDGE) website.
